Declan McLaughlin is an Irish folk singer songwriter from Derry. Former frontman of Irish outfts The Whole Tribe Sings and The Screaming Bin Lids, Declan McLaughlin has toured extensively across Australia, Ireland, North America and Europe with artists such as Christy Moore, The Frames, Damien Dempsey and Gary Og. In recent years, Declan has embarked on a solo career and has released an album 'No Big Deal' and two Eps, 'Part One' and 'Part Two'.
Over the last number of months Declan has written and recorded his latest offering, an album which is preceded by his brand new three track taster entitled 'More Tracks to Follow'. Declan's song 'Running Up Hill' was recently named the #3 best song from Derry behind The Undertone's 'Teenage Kicks' and Phil Coulter's 'The Town I Loved So Well' in the Derry Journal. Declan's album is set for release in September 2013 worldwide.
